Since I have some free time left from my studies today I decided it's a good time to reminisce the beginning of this year. I will once again probably forget to mention a lot of important things that happened, but here I go!

I've already talked a lot about the transfers, BUT I WILL DO IT AGAIN BECAUSE GOD DAMN THIS IS STILL SO INFURIATING.
First, we didn't send any players just super near the end, and when we did, it felt like everyone left one by one.

When Bakambu left, he left with a super sweet tweet thanking the fans and the team. I felt like we all sympathized with him anyway. (That Bayern goal will always be remembered) It felt too quick, because he was at AFCON during that iirc. He left this tweet too:

Which is super funny, because a bit later this tweet was posted, Kazımcan also was sent on a loan to Ankaragücü 😭 Which left the team with no original backs, and this time everyone once again joked that Barış will fill that position too. (And IIRC, he did play in that position too many times.) Also, Okan Hoca didn't give many minutes to the youngsters that much early in the season:

This all just emphasizes how bad our transfer policy is as a club and it's annoying (like a said a million times). It also created lots of stressful matches (it still does). But at least Okan Hoca got over it somehow...

The one transfer I'd say that affected the play the most was Sacha of course, and nearly every fan liked him and he was like our collective son. There were rumors about many clubs being interested in him, but none of us expected him to leave in winter window. I guess it helped that Bayern was in a bit of a hurry, having their own injury crisis (like us) so we managed to sell him for a reasonable fee (and the highest ever for Süper Lig which is sad).

That whole week was CRAZY. I couldn't stop checking the news because FOMO! What if he frigging left while I was studying? 😂 And that's exactly what happened LOL. There were so many funny things, sad things that I had saved, but it seems I've decided not to keep them since I basically did a live report on my IG stories that three days. (It went on for like 3-4 days.)

I could find this one for this post LOL. One thing to mention is that our fans (and Bayern fanpages too) did their best to advertise Boey for them to buy LFKLJGD and while that was going on, since we didn't want Sacha to leave just YET (maybe after CL!! we said) many tried to push Tete instead. 😂

(To be fair, making jokes about Tete is a low hanging fruit at this point 😭)

There were rumors we were going to get a player named Assignon, and it didn't take long before people drew similarities between him and Boey.

We've got Köhn and he played good in his first match, so people were sad that his transfer happened after the management had sent the player list for UEL.

I mentioned in the previous collection post that we've all been waiting for Arda to play in a Real Madrid match. Since then afaik, he only started 1 match but has been getting some minutes in lately! Anyway, his first match was a cup match against a low league club. He played for like 70 minutes. So when he was subbed out :D // Every time Arda touches the ball.
