I finished Metal Gear Solid 2
Wednesday, 2 March 2022 01:02 pmIt's been very busy lately, since me and my sister are still trying to catch up with playing all the video games we couldn't play, or watch the movies we couldn't before when she was away. Not to mention there's a war going on just above our country, my mind's been a mess.
It certainly didn't help to play Sons of Liberty in such a time but I really liked the game, even more than the first one. The story was something else and there are still some stuff I couldn't understand. It reminded me of 1984 sometimes.
I especially loved the music though. Even from the title screen, I knew I was going to love it.
There were some stuff that bugged me though, especially with the writing of some characters, some cringy and some that made me almost "eugh", but it's a Japanese game and they do those kind of stuff pretty regularly :/ To mention a few:

- Emma's brother "complex". "Wanting to be seen as a woman to Hal" like please, don't. The writers were horny for some step sister romance I guess.
- Pliskin talking about "asking her out" - a barely 18-year-old girl?????? Totally OOC and disgusting
- The worst of all, Rosemary lmfao. She was so, so badly written. "Women aren't strong but I am" ? NO WOMAN TALKS SHIT LIKE THAT
