temrisAs we come closer each day to the last day of this year, I want to make a different post where I collect my fav posts, things etc. about football this year in one entry. Idk if I'll continue making this each year, maybe every three months or something. Why? Because my phone storage is in a bad situation all the time and I want to relieve it a little bit, but these things are funny to reminiscence from time to time. Later on, it'll be a nice memory (hopefully not many of them will get deleted, bc I couldn't embed the videos from Twitter, and I'm not going to try to download them -- I don't have time!)

Speaking of, our Euro 2024 group matches (along with the Germany friendly that ended up in between them for some reason) generated a lot of funny stuff too.

- There were some investigations going on with the Italians which I didn't follow quite well but I think Tonali was banned for 3 months or something for betting...? Anyway, while that was going on, there were also some talks about Zaniolo, who is on loan to Aston Villa right now but since he's still technically our player, there were some memes ofc -- even though most were from rival teams, idc. It was funny.

- We've had quite a lot of injured players ourselves, especially during the very active period bc of the national + CL matches, yet nearly none of them were replaced. The ones that could have been subbed played with injections, and we were "a little" appalled at this decision.
This year's highlight for me was obviously our CL run -- even though I started following a bit later on on our group stages but whatever. Time and time again I mentioned that we gave a good fight.

- Musiala actually got injured at the later game iirc, and there was a tweet saying "Musiala çıktı diye seviniyorduk Müller girdi oyuna" 😭😭 I actually prayed so hard in none of the matches Müller would play, bc Tuchel already was benching him the whole season!! And to my unluck, he plays in the one match I did NOT want!
- Torreira's goal that was decided offside...
- Okan Hoca was pretty angry about the referee in that match and he sweared a couple of times one of which was...
- The manifesting tweet before the match and the reply it got LMFAOOO:

- Last minute karambol in the Man Utd match...
- The weather got really bad in the final match against Copenhagen and people were concerned if it could get postponed. Someone mentioned this occasion FDSJKHKD
- Garnacho was making shush signs after his early goal, and Fernandes tried to calm Muslera who got annoyed at him obviously. Anthony later apologized with his hands behind Garnacho for GS fans, but anyway the funny thing here is this reply:
- Icardi changed his hairstyle before the Copenhagen match:

- The mysterious player in the bench that got a yellow near the end of the match caused a lot of unrest between us to make out who it was. I thought it was Uğurcan because of his nose, but I didn't quite catch the mysterious guy's height at that moment. Some also joked that it was K. Demirbay and he made it there as a spy, hence the scarf :D But the day after, Rıdvan Yılmaz came out as the mysterious player:
- Real Madrid player Rüdiger also played in the match, causing the official Twitter account to post a photo of him... along with İrfan Can.
- In our last match against Wales, Samet was so aggressive towards their players for some reason, and there were many positions where we all expected yellows, even reds + penalties against us. However, the referee did not give any and we were quite surprised, because usually we are the ones who they act against us. It was a nice feeling and people made sure he was recognized for his good will LOL. // this // this // this
- The match against Crotia was very interesting because our only goal was by Barış Alper, who plays for Galatasaray; and the GK for Crotia was Livakovic, who plays for Fenerbahçe. Some funny replies

- Arda Güler still hasn't debuted in a Real Madrid match as of 18.12.23. Thing is, each time they say "he'll be in the next match", but this has been going on for months, and they only hype him for the interactions from the Turks! Everyone is making fun of it, but we all are so tired, that's why. We want to see our boy shine!
- Barış Alper memes: Fans kept calling him "Lazbappe" or "BAYbappe" which made me laugh everytime, but (as of 18.12.23) for the last two matches, Okan Hoca put him as the left back and he didn't do a bad job... so now people called him "Lazphonso Baries" LMAO. // This video of him hiding Nelsson's cleats on his butt????
- Burak Yılmaz was appointed as the coach for Beşiktaş (for some reason...lmao) and he gave us one of the quotes of all time while complaining. (The thread is unrelated, I just needed the video)
- Muslera seeing that a fan is taking a video of them and he plays the UNO reverse card. (I'm not sure if this one is from this season)
- Okan Hoca talked about how actually many of our players were playing with injections despite their injuries. I really agree with the generally accepted idea among fans in this subject, that is we would rather have them rest to not further danger their health. A good meme for this matter:
- The cat that got into the football pitch in the cup match. Very Türkiye thing to happen. And the cat actually refused to go. Commentator is funny.
- The City - Spurs match was ended by the referee when the ball was in an attack position, and Erling wasn't very happy about it. He tweeted "Wtf" quoting the video on Twitter.
There were so many memes made with his angry face, and he also saw and quote retweed one of them with another "wtf".😭
- Video of a mod with the referee and Haaland fighting. Incredible.
- Since this year was our 100th anniversary of our republic, teams released special jerseys for the occasion. Beşiktaş's was so simple in difference, so people made memes, comparing it with shitpost jerseys. Some of my favorites:
